Charger is here :] & fun photos to share

Finally.....I got my charger in the mail for my laptop. I can not tell you how happy I was to see that box! As I have mentioned in past posts, I have some pictures to share with you. First is a picture of my new Tahoe. I have been loving it. It is a 2008 Tahoe LTZ :

These next pictures are of David's new billboard in Seneca. I am so proud of him. He has really come a long way since we were 18. Who woulda thunk it??
Now we are off to Valentine's dinner at Paesano's. Delicious!!! As always!

This is what happens when you leave your camera out while you are at work and your 14 year old son get a hold of it ;)

These last photos are from last night. We went to Mardi Gras at Anderson Civic Center to benefit Meals on Wheels of Anderson. My great friend Jeanie was good enough to let us know about it. We love her! What a sweet and loving woman. Another great friend of our, Lyle, went with us. The food was great. Makes me want to go to Nami's tonight. I went to their booth twice for sushi last night ;)

Hope you enjoyed getting caught up on some family photos!!

Biggest Loser...I am not happy!

Oh my goodness!! I am not happy with the team split up and changes from last night's episode! I literally started balling my eyes out when Bob and Sione' broke down. It was so emotional. I didn't even post about last weeks episode because that turn out was just 'wrong'!! I don't think Shanon should have been the chosen one. I am very interested in seeing what tonight's weigh-in results will be. Sione' and Tara are still my top picks for winner this year. I have new pictures to post of beautiful Hannah Marie. I can't wait to go see them. It is not looking good for us with the dates we wanted to go, but we are still looking :)

Still no computer charger for me at home!! I don't know what to say about our postal service!! I am so upset....and that is a nice way of putting it.

Hannah Marie Sell is here.....

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Hannah Marie Sell was born at 11:31am on 2/22/09 weighing 7lbs 13oz & 21 inches long.

Rick and Jennifer are now the proud parents of their first child!! I couldn't be happier for them. Terry said Jen did a wonderful job with the labor. NO MEDICATION!! What a trooper....now there's a REAL woman! I can't wait to go see them. Rick's job took them to PA several years ago so it's not like we can just drive over to see them now. I am dying to get my hands on this beautiful little girl! We were planning to go in May, but know I can't wait that long ;) I am now looking at the end of March or first of April...mainly because that is when Dr. Merrill will be visiting with his father in Chicago and I will be off work then. I also need to see if Rick and Jen can have us then or if someone else is already coming in then.

On another note...I am still without a computer charger at home! It is killing me!!! We ordered it last Sunday with expedited shipping and it is still not here :[ If it doesn't come today I will scream (more than I already have been).

One of our favorite places to eat is now open again for the season. T-60 Grill in Fair Play is now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday :) We love the Low Country Boil there...it is delicious!

Playlist song for Zach...

This new first song on my Playlist is for Zach! He likes this music. This song came on the radio the other day and he was just a singing it. It was the first time I had heard it and it was so cute to see Zach sing it.

This is for you Zach....

Valentine's Day 2009

What a beautiful Valentine's Day it was. The morning weather was a little rocky and looked as if it were going to rain, but it ended up being a nice day. David and I went to Seneca and Walhalla to run a few errands. We also picked up the third row seat for the Tahoe. Morgan went to a tea party at Paige's house and had a great time...as usual she was not ready to leave when I went to pick her up ;) David surprised me with a dozen red roses and a 1 hour gift certificate for a massage! That was so sweet, I wasn't expecting either of them. Thank you honey :)
Saturday night we had dinner at Paesano's with the kids and David, Terry, Fred and Jim. The food and the company was awesome! I had one of my usual dinners there: mahi, steamed veggies and a salad...(2 pieces of bread..shhh) and then topped it off with 1/2 of a Tiramisu! And of course a couple of glasses of Lardi Vigne Regali! What a Great Valentine's Day it was!! :) At the end of the meal the waiters brought all the ladies (including Morgan) each a beautiful red tulip. Morgan was so proud. Then to top that off, Frank (the owner) brought Morgan a white rose! She felt like the luckiest girl in the world!

I would love to post a few pictures for you...and I will as soon as I get the charger for my home computer that should arrive in the mail any day now :[ I don't even want to talk about that...Thanks David ;) Anyway, as soon as I get it I will be posting some pictures.

Blast From The Past

Isn't it strange how years pass and you hear from someone you haven't seen in 15 years? That happened to me today. My how it brings back memories of my senior year in high school. Those were the days...but I did grow up...thankfully ;) You know how some people change as the years pass and grow into wise adults and some people stay just like they were 15 years ago. I love it when I rekindle with someone from the past. It is great to see where life has taken everyone and how we have grown into adults and proud parents. How did we get so old so fast?? Anyway, this was just a quick thought....I've got to get back to work now. It was good to hear from you Dusty! It brings back good memories :)

By the way, my eye is much better today. It still looks a little rough but feels much better.

A real "eye sore"...

Well, it started again. I had a recurrence of Uveitis over the weekend. In the left eye this time. I immediately began the prednisone drops when I felt it coming on. I went to see Dr. Demarco in Athens yesterday. He is such a pleasant doctor to see. Although he did do the usual and give me a shot of Kenalog in the eye. Ouch...that's right....in the eye! Makes your eyes water to think about it doesn't it?? Mine too ;) Needless to say, my eye got more angry after getting the shot. Eyeball all swollen and inside out looking....sounds great doesn't it?? I am having to keep it dilated for the inflammation so I really look like a freak right now. I would post a picture, but I wouldn't want to give you nightmares or anything. Surprisingly it does feel better today, although it doesn't look that much better. Many of you already know why I have this reoccurring symptom but for those of you how don't I will tell you. I have HLA-B27 antigen....it is related to types of arthritis that causes inflammation in my body. The only real symptoms I have is the Uveitis and tendinitis (knees, elbows and ankles-mostly). No debilitating symptoms right now....hopefully never. I do have to take a Methotrexate once a week to help cut down on the occurrences of Uveitis. You are getting a good health lesson today aren't you?? I am not dying and it is not contagious! Those are both good points to make.

I hated to see Blaine get cut from the Biggest Loser last night. I still feel like the blue team (Sione and Filipe) are the ones to watch. They are really on a roll. I am excited to see the progress these contestants have made this far.

Zach is in the middle of baseball tryouts this week. Wish him luck!

This is about as much as I can stand to type today (with one eye dilated). I will keep you posted.

Happy Wednesday!!

Weekend over already??

I can't believe it is already 8:45pm on Sunday night. Where did the weekend go?? I did have kind of a busy weekend though. It started by getting my hair cut and colored on Friday night. I was so glad to see Jessica (my hair dresser). She recently moved from the place she had been for the past 8 years. It took me a cycle of color before I could make our schedules work....but we did it. After getting my hair beautified I went to Royston to pick up Morgan from the chicken sale. She loves going to the sale with mama but always wants to come home afterwards. She loves to sleep near her mama and daddy. Saturday I spend the most part of the day in Seneca and Walhalla running errands (shopping at Burkes) and getting the car washed and cleaned. We finished the night off at David and Terry's having a delicious Low Country Boil. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Today we drove to Helen, GA. It was a beautiful day! 70 degrees on Feb. 8. I'm afraid the beautiful weather will not last long. We still have winter to come. I bought my first pair of Croc's today in Helen. Troika Crocs. They are not the traditional looking ones. They are brown...and sooo comfortable. I can't believe I have never bought a pair before now. It may be my new addiction. I hear Moon's in Westminster have a large selection to choose from. I will have to pay them a visit in the near future. They were having a buy one get one 1/2 off sale a couple of weeks ago, but I'm sure that special has since passed.
We had a delicious dinner in Cornelia, GA at Longhorn. I feel a little guilty about eating all of my steak but it was worth it. It was only a 7 oz fillet steak though ;) I did get veggie's instead of baked potato....that was a good choice!
We are now home. Morgan is bathed and Zach is aggravating her. Typical night here at the Fields home. Now I'm off to prepare for the week to come. I hope it is a great one ;))

It's about time!!

Aaahhh! I am so relieved! I finally got a new car. I have been so excited! I got a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. Totally customized....totally! I will take pictures of it but for now here is a picture on one:

Mine is Pearl White. It is beautiful...and I love it. It is the newest car that I have ever owned. It only has 17,000 miles. The van had 40,000 when we bought it 8 years ago. We have been long over due for another vehicle.

I am soooo glad that Joelle got voted off of the Biggest Loser last night. How in the world did she make it this far?? I do feel sorry for Carla. She deserved a much better partner! I was very happy to see at the end of the episode that she has continued to loose weight. I can't wait to see her progress at the end of the season. I am still thinking that Sione' is one of the players that we need to look to be in the finale. He is doing awesome!

Zach is in baseball conditioning this week. Tryout are next week. I love to watch him play baseball. It is my favorite of all of the sports that he plays. Although I did love to watch him play soccer....but he hasn't played that for a few years since he is into football. I will be interesting to see how it turns out next week. There looks to be a lot of boys trying out. I hope Zach gets a good position.

Weigh in is tomorrow....wish me luck!
